This fairly short narrated walking tour nearLarkin Square is dense with hidden, homegrown and long-forgotten mysteries: religious/spiritual visions, War of 1812 traumas, world-famous Spiritualist mediums, Native American legend, little known literary figures, and startlingly powerful haunted sites. Grab a bite and a sip and after take a walk on the dark side, Larkinville-style.
Don’t expect to be shown pictures of ghosts or take you hunting for them. Don’t expect to talk to them and tell you what they said. Don’t expect them to hire actors to jump out and scare you. Do expect to be entertained and informed, and to walk away with some new insights.
